Pinterest is now testing out a new look for their newsfeed! After you changed your profile to the new look, did your face look like the little girl’s below? We are not sure if she is concentrating on spotting all of the differences, or if she really isn’t happy with the new look. Can you spot all of the changes?
Okay, here is some help if you couldn’t catch them all:
Simpler Navigation. All of the categories are in a drop down menu on the left, next to the search bar. Your profile settings are still in the drop down on the right.
Options. For business pages you can now track analytics! Finally, there is something to scream and shout about! You can track your pins, repines, impressions, reach, clicks and visitors.
It’s Bigger. The pins displayed on the homepage are out of their boxes and are larger. Also, when you click on a pin the image is larger along with other pins on that board.
Coming Soon:
These are features from the old look that Pinterest is still working on incorporating in the new look, but they are coming soon!
- Rearranging Boards.
- Finding/Inviting Friends
- Your Activity Tab
- Mentions in comments and pin descriptions
- Verifying Your Website
- Your Language Selection
- Converting to/Signing up as a business
- Deactivating your account
Since this new look is still in testing, Pinterest is allowing users to switch back and forth from the old look to the new look. They are asking for your opinion of the new look and feedback on any bugs that occur while using the new look. Happy pinning with the new look!
